  Beautiful view and great location. The Sapphire property is well maintained and the front desk friendly and helpful. The condo is in need of an overhaul. Worn, dirty rugs, broken recliner and microwave that works when it wants to. That said, well stocked with pillows and bed linens.

  Great Place, just not taken care of. The dishwasher was broken and plugged (very smelly) disposal was plugged and not working, and 9 light bulbs were burned out. I had to go to the store and replace a bunch myself because nobody ever called back about any of the problems.

  Our first time to South Padre and couldn't have picked a better condo complex. Pool was amazing, staff friendly, room clean. It was nice also going over to Margaritaville next door to get a drink at the bar. View was amazing! Getting to have a view of Space X was neat too. Only negatives, not enough bath towels(Only 1 per person) or hand towels (There is a washer and dryer, but wasn't excited about doing laundry on vacation :)) and few pots and pans for cooking. There were some, but not enough larger pots/frying pans. I was glad I brought trash bags too. The electric grill on the back balcony I would not recommend unless it's been fixed. There was a mini "explosion" when we turned it on and debris popped out from the grill. Lastly, if you want to watch TV, bring a Roku or Firestick. There is no cable. We were happy we read previous reviews and brought one. I'm being nitpicky, but overall it was fantastic.The convenience of a gas station being right around the corner was also a bonus.

  The Sapphire itself is nice, but the condos are individually owned and rented out. There should be a standard, but unfortunately, in our case, there was not. We had soiled decorative pillows on our bed, bathrooms that were not stocked with washcloths, no garbage bags for the kitchen and no indication that there wouldn’t be a drip coffee maker, but instead a pod coffee maker with no complimentary pods to get us through a morning without running to the store. The refrigerator itself worked, but the outside was peeling and unattractive. Some shades worked and some didn’t. The place needs new furniture. Very dated and cranky to use.

  Wonderful pool and great beach. No cable TV in unit and there was some melted gunk in the freezer when we arrived. Sapphire beach umbrellas were offered only to condo owners except on our last day.

  Comfortable furniture and beds. Plenty of pillows and linen. Hair dryers in all the baths (our 4th different unit at the Sapphire and this is the first time we didn’t need to share a dryer) Sturdy and comfortable outdoor furniture on both balconies. The view can’t be beat. Everyone employed here are helpful and polite. Only complaint, no cable and missing remote in 2nd bedroom. We had to buy a fire stick to watch any tv. Will be back!

  Love the condo and the view is spectacular. The facility is beautiful and the pool area is perfect for all ages. The beach area and showers to wash up were just what we needed to add to a delightful experience at SPI. I'll be returning soon since I rate Sapphire top notch.
