  It was a perfect spot. The unit was very nice and clean, The curtains need to be hung and others repaired. We had no hand soap, the corkscrew was broken, no kitchen hand towels, and no clothes washing soap. There was also only one facecloth in the entire condo. But it was still a great condo and I would return.

  The condo is decorated beautifully, and the owners have a lovely place! That said, the cleaning is subpar, which is such a shame. The bathroom mats were not cleaned, and after shaking the sand/hair/etc out in the tub, I washed them. The master sheets were filthy with black specs and hair and ... a previous guest's swimsuit hygiene liner. Again, I washed it all. For the amount it costs to rent this condo ($$$), washing and cleaning on my first day of vacation should never happen, so we were extremely disappointed, to say the least. Also, leftover coffee grounds were in the coffee maker and a fish head and fishing line leader were on the outside balcony, so those were obviously untouched by housekeeping after the previous stay. I texted the manager this information, to no response. Would I stay here again? Maybe if I knew the cleaning services had improved.

  We stayed during the 4th of July and I was very impressed with everything Sapphire had to offer. The condo was very nice & beds were very confortable. The pool & convience of the beach steps away made it definitely worth staying. Also the condo had beach towels, chairs & beach toys which was very helpful when ensuring you are prepared for the beach at any moment. I highly recommend the Sapphire South Padre, we will be back.
